Reason for starting
I am an Air Force wife and entrepreneur. After this last move with the military, I knew I needed to do something to keep my career going in upward direction. I had to think outside the box to get where I wanted to be in my career. As military spouses, we face a lot of obstacles and make many sacrifices when it comes to our own respective careers. So I knew I needed to do something about it to fill that missing piece of the puzzle that is the makeup of me.
How do you define success?
My success is helping other military spouses with my story as well as being able to contribute to my household financially.
Biggest Success
Probably making great relationships as well as launching our new program that allows military spouses to join our team.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it?
The military affiliated industry seems to be hard to break into. My partners and I have had a difficult time getting others to recognize what we are doing at MSC. It has been very challenging too because there are a lot of scammers out there, so it is hard for others to really recognize how our business idea will help other military spouses out there.
Who is your most important role model?
I really like Kimora Lee Simmons. I think she is fantastic at branding. I really like her swag and ability to think outside the box. She is a great business woman and still able to relate to her audience. That is something I think is extremely important.
