Reason for starting: I wanted to start a company that would allow me to pursue my passion for fashion and jewelry, while making a positive impact on underprivileged communities around the world.
How do you define success? When we’re able to see someone’s life changed for the better, thanks to the production and profits generated from our business.

Biggest Success: The first sales we received after putting our business online. It was the first promising step that showed validation in the countless hours of hard work we put into the site.
What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it? We struggled to communicate our mission and vision and distinctly differentiate our brand online. We addressed this by testing out different methods and strategies and conducting market research and then used the insights to create a positioning strategy, which then informed the brand identity.

Who is your most important role model? Sonia Sotomayor. She is a great example of a person who despite being handed a tough deck of cards, kept pushing the envelope and never gave up until she reached her goal.
