Reason for starting: I started my business because I enjoy being of service to others, and I know that it is my gift. I also wanted the flexibility of being able to spend quality time with my toddler who was in daycare at the time. A hard-charging corporate career meant that I had to sacrifice precious time with my family.

How do you define success? I define success as living out your purpose and your passion. Most people are still looking for their purpose in life. I’m blessed to have found mine.
Biggest Success: My biggest success was landing a major client that I used to watch on The Apprentice with Donald Trump! That win confirmed for me that Time Sweet Time was heading in the right direction and establishing the credibility for which I worked so hard every day. A close second was winning Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2010. That is a huge honor in this town.

What is your top challenge and how have you addressed it? My top challenge has been wearing many different hats as an entrepreneur (publicity, communications, administrative, etc.). I have learned what to outsource in ways that do not break the bank. For example, hiring interns from my alma mater has served me quite well in getting things done and has freed me up to focus on more important revenue generating activities.
Who is your most important role model? My most important role model is my mother. She exemplifies the patience, faith and strength of character to be in this business for the long haul.
